"Saunders Waterford" is a professional watercolour paper of the highest quality, made using traditional technology on a cylinder machine. Approved by the Royal Society of Watercolourists. Manufactured to archival standards from cotton. Has a gelatin impregnation. Does not contain acids and optical brighteners. Each sheet is buffered with calcium carbonate to protect the finished works from discolouration caused by acids present in the atmosphere. An attractive surface is created thanks to natural wool felt, which gives the paper a characteristic random texture. This is a dense and durable paper that can withstand many layers of paint and water.
Valued for excellent colour rendering properties and durability. Suitable for watercolour, acrylic, gouache, pastel, pen and ink, pencil, charcoal. Saunders Waterford paper with a coarse texture ("rough", "torchon"), density 300 g / m2, natural white color, has a size of 152 x 1010 cm and is rolled into a roll.
